13 March 2012

First shown at ISE last month, the 7000 series is available in three configurations: the XL7100U (1024 x 768 pixel XGA), the WL7200U (1280 x 800 pixel WXGA) and the UL7400U (1920×1200 pixel WUXGA. Our review model was the 6000 lumen XL7100U. Already being widely advertised at prices ranging from £2,200 to £2,500, this model represents really good value for customers looking to equip a large meeting room or a mid-size lecture theatre

PC Advisor - May 2011 - EX240U ****

12 May 2011

The EX240U provides a great picture on almost any surface. Settings allow you to cater for wall colour and 1080i/p video is supported. It doesn't offer a tripod mount, but adjustable feet and a front stand let you tweak the tilt of your projection.

The image projected can be pushed to a massive 300in, but half this is ideal for most tasks. The minimum size is 40in across.

Mac User - March 2011 - CP-D70DW

31 March 2011

With a 29-second cycle for a 6in x 8in print, including 12 seconds processing time, job times were pleasingly short. And noise levels, something of a weakness of roll-fed dye-subs, were barely audible in standby mode, rising to a reasonable 50dB during output. Best of all, though, was the print quality.

Using the default settings, there was no discernible difference between the two colour management options, and colour accuracy was excellent when compared with our test print.
