Mitsubishi's XD1000U has been designed specifically for installation type environments.

Feature rich the XD1000U utilises Mitsubishi’s own Colour Enhancer™ technology, based on Texas Instruments Brilliant Colour™, which offers higher brightness and truer more accurate colours. The Colour Enhancer™ feature provide up to a 50 percent increase in ‘mid-tones’, ensuring natural, life like images are produced.

The XD1000U also features 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and a motorised horizontal and vertical lens shift, essential in installations as once the projector is in place the picture can be adjusted.

Optional lenses are also available for both these models; therefore the lens can be replaced to produce smaller or larger images without the projector having to be moved from its installation position.
