Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems division, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality, high definition presentation and display products has today further committed to bring affordable home cinema solutions to the market with the introduction of the HC4900 projector.

The HC4900 is one of the most affordable high definition, 1080p projectors available today, with an expected retail price of £1286 + VAT. It boasts a 5000 hour lamp life (in eco mode) that helps to keep overall running costs low and has been designed with an easy access lamp for quick and simple lamp changes, even when ceiling mounted.

Mitsubishi’s latest home cinema projector utilises the latest generation C2FINE™ inorganic LCD panels that are more durable, producing even toned images and increased colour consistency. The HC4900 is equipped with 1000 ANSI lumens,  7500:1 contrast ratio  and a dynamic iris control, ensuring that high quality detailed images are produced for fantastic picture quality for film, sports and general viewing. It is also extremely quiet with a fan noise of just 19dB.

The HC4900 is equipped with a number of features making it a flexible home cinema projector; these include both HDMI and DVI for a true HD experience. It also benefits from powered zoom, focus and lens shift, making installation of the HC4900 very quick and easy.

Alistair Duthie, Divisional Manager said, “The HC4900 is one of the best priced home cinema projectors available right now, making a full 1080p HD home cinema experience more accessible. The introduction of the HC4900 has strengthened Mitsubishi’s position within the home cinema market”.
