Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems, a leading manufacturer of high quality digital photo imaging solutions has introduced their latest advanced CP9800DW dye sublimation photo printer. The CP9800DW produces high quality prints in just 8.7 seconds per print. This new printer is ideal for use in event and social photography, studios, and for incorporation into photo kiosks.
The new CP9800DW offers these high speed prints using a USB 2.0 interface that enables immaculately fine detailed photos to be produced from both windows and apple based software platforms. Tests have produced an impressive 100 prints in just 15 minutes, continuously printing 4” x 6” inch photos. Output sizes are 4” x 6”, 5” x 7”, 6” x 8” and 6” x 9” borderless prints.
Service life has always been the strong point for Mitsubishi printers, and now, improved print head and cutter technology has been utilised, enabling the CP9800DW to achieve over 40000 prints before any service is required. This impressive printer life together with an approx print price of only 8p for a 4” x 6” and just 28p for a 6” x 9” equates to a complete package matching the requirements of studio and social photographers, as well as photo kiosk integrators and manufacturers.
Utilising dye sublimation technology, the CP9800DW ensures all photos produced emerge completely touch dry to guarantee the pictures are water, finger and fade resistant, at the same time being as durable as traditional photographs.

Pricing and Warranty:
The CP9800DW is now available from stock at a retail price of £1100 plus VAT. As with all Mitsubishi’s digital photo printers the CP9800DW comes with a one year return to base warranty (RTB). Extended warranties are available for both studio and social event photographers.
