Mitsubishi present their latest DX-TL digital recorders at the IFSEC Exhibition 2007

Mitsubishi Electric, a world leader in the innovative design and manufacture of advanced security solutions, will be exhibiting once again at this year’s IFSEC, one of the industry’s leading events in Hall 20 on Stand 13021 at Birmingham’s NEC from 21st – 24th May 2007.

At this year’s exhibition Mitsubishi will be displaying its full range of digital recorders, LCD displays and its large format 67” SXGA+ video wall.

All of Mitsubishi’s DX-TL recorders have been designed as fully featured, reliable solutions that are suitable for a range of applications such as retail, banking, corporate and the public sector. All come with a 24 month warranty and support from Mitsubishi’s in-house technical and service team.

DX-TL4509E
The DX-TL4509E is a 9-channel digital recorder that comes equipped with many of the advanced features of Mitsubishi’s current and highly regarded 16 channel DVR, the DX-TL5000E. These include triplex functionality and built in motion detection, as well as a dual multiplexer output that allows for the simultaneous monitoring of both live and recorded footage. Fully featured, the DX-TL4509E comes as standard with 400Gb of HDD. There is an additional bay, which allows an extra HDD to be added and if more memory is required, upto 7Tb can be added externally.

DX-TL4516E
The DX-TL4516E is a 16 channel version of the DX-TL4509E. It uses the latest JPEG2000 compression technology for high quality, fine detailed pictures and comes with a built-in USB, CD/DVD-R/RW drive, a unique and advanced feature in today’s market. This digital recorder comes as standard with 400Gb HDD, and has the option to add an additional internal drive as well as another 7Tb externally.

DX-TL5000E
Also on display will be the DX-TL5000E, Mitsubishi’s advanced 16 channel digital recorder that utilises JPEG2000 technology to ensure high picture quality and efficient image compression. It also boasts a recording rate of upto 200 pictures per second and a viewing rate of 800 pictures per second. The DX-TL5000E can be equipped with upto 3 internal hard disks, while optional DX-ZD5UE HDD extension units can house 2 hard disks each (the DX-TL5000E can accommodate a maximum of 7 DX-ZD5UE HDD extension units), therefore maximising storage capacity upto 35Tb.

DS-3000RT
Mitsubishi’s most advanced security solution the DS-3000RT digital system will also be on display on stand 13021. This is the ultimate in digital recording and can be created specifically around the user’s needs. It can have storage capacity of upto 32Tb and networking capability, providing remote access. Superior picture quality is achievable with each camera capable of capturing 25 pps without the loss of data in real time recording and the MPEG2 compression method allows upto 800 images per second. The system provides flexible, reliable and consistent surveillance to suit any large networked security application.

CP910E
Mitsubishi’s CP910E is an A6 high-speed colour dye sublimation printer, and will be operational on the stand to complement the rest of the security systems by printing photo quality captured images in a matter of seconds.

67” Video Walls
Two 67” SXGA+, large format display walls will provide an eye-catching centrepiece on the stand. Mitsubishi’s large format displays use the latest DLP™ technology to produce bright, sharp, colour balanced pictures across the displays seamlessly. In addition, these fully featured displays benefit from colour space control for consistent colour blending and uniformity, a dynamic brightness balancing function that measures the brightness levels of each display every two seconds to ensure the levels are the same, as well as a high contrast ratio and brightness level. Mitsubishi’s PH50 display walls also benefit from a smart lamp which stores each individual display setting, as well as a speed lamp swap function that reduces the lamp down time to approximately 10 seconds. The no burn in feature makes these extremely reliable and ideal for use within control room applications when 24/7 use may be required.

There will also be examples from Mitsubishi’s range of LCD monitors that have been specifically designed for public display use. The range includes a 32”, 37”, 42” and 46” that all produce high definition, dynamic images accurately from DVDs and PCs and feature multi-screen display and zooming functions, making them ideal for image and information communication.

Security Installer Program
Mitsubishi’s Approved Installer Program has been designed to enable security installers the opportunity to become a recognised installer of Mitsubishi’s range. By becoming an Approved Security Installer, full and regular product training will be provided, as well as a dedicated account manager. Installers will also have access to a number of marketing tools to help promote their business and the services that they provide.

Come and visit us on stand 13021 for further information and product demonstrations and to learn about the Approved Installer Program.
