How do we export data?
You can export via CDR/DVD –R or USB or to our own ZD6 mass storage download unit.
How do we search data?
You can search by date and time, alarm event and selected areas of storage. You can refer to our ‘Easy User Guide’ for DX-TL downloadable from our latest CD-Rom.
How long will the unit record for before overwriting?
This is depends on the number of cameras, recording rates, and quality setting.
What’s the max HDD capacity the unit can take?
1500GB using 2 x 750GB SATA drives.
How do I connect to the remote access software?
There are two ways… You can either use the in built web browser function which will allow live, playback and search with out the need of any software installed on the PC. You can also use the Nethunter/PC200 remote software which will allow full functional control of the DVR.
How do I connect to an external keyboard?
Via the RG11 lead supplied in the keyboard box, you can enable the keyboard function in the ‘comms’ and ‘LAN’ section of the DVR under RS485.
Can’t Playback?
Make sure in search function that the source is ‘Main’ and not USB.
Is there a storage calculator I can use to work out what I need?
Yes we do… This can be downloaded from our website or our latest CD-Rom.
